Stefano was born in Milan, Italy, on 2/3/1981. At the age of 12 he started playingaround with his father's keyboards, which were already in the house. After some years of restless practice, he started buying some studio gear and producing his first demos (which ranged from drum'n bass to pop to house). He developed a strong taste for both vintage analog and digital synths, as well as a great interest in native instruments.
In March '99 he published his first record for the Bustin' Loose label: The Mockers - "Sometime Love". He then met the Jaywork team, who gave him the opportunity to release both dance and house tracks: Y2K - "Once in a lifetime" (2000), Shepan - "How do you feel" (2001) and Groove Juice feat. Djamil Thian - "Back to Afrika" (2001). This last record gained good appreciation in Italy, UK (released by Multiply with remix by Little Green men) and Asia. While thinking of a possible follow-up to Groove Juice, Stefano got the inspiration to compose a completely different track: "Sans Egal". He felt such a strong love for this record that decided to give it his own real birth name. Sans Egal is gaining a constantly raising interest all over Europe and its promos have been played by top DJs such as Pete Tong, Seb Fontaine, Dave Clarke, Eric Kupper, Spiller, Robbie Rivera, Milk&Sugar, Stonebridge, Yousef, and many others. It has also obtained good results in the Italian House charts. While waiting for Sans Egal's vocal mix, Stefano found time to produce House Freak - "House Freak", remix Deep Xpress - "Ever", and work on some new interesting ideas.
Another important project is a trance song called Danich - "Take Your Time" for DB One rec.
During his "free" time Stefano studies as Telecommunication Engineer at the University of Milan, but he also finds time to write some technical articles for the top Italian music magazine: SM Strumenti Musicali.
